Nancy Krauss owns and runs Cambridge Design and Lantern Works and the Trout Copper Gallery. The
handcrafted copper lighting fixtures, primarily lanterns are produced in its
facility in Washington County, Town of Jackson, New York. The workshops
are located in a renovated pre-Civil war English style barn.
"We fabricate our products from raw
materials entirely by hand," she says. "We fashion our lanterns from solid sheet
copper and then electrify them with U. L. approved components. Factory seconds and limited
