Obama & McCain Square Off In Paris

Shanghai-born artist Yan Pei Ming's US presidential two-punch double portrait of Obama and McCain were the only artworks at the FIAC that went near the US elections, maybe because Americans were mostly absent from the art orgy at the annual giant Paris art fair, the Foire Internatinale d'Art Contemporain. The double portraits were featured at David Zwirner's stand at the Grand Palais. They probably cost more than the billions spent for the bank bailout, but with Yan Pei Ming's prices skyrocketing these days, they're worth every euro.
